Dhaka 8 views

History & Background

Inaugurated on 3 October 2003, Nandan Park was built on the Nabinagar-Chandra Highway in Savar as a large-scale family entertainment complex, introducing several rides that were the first of their kind in Bangladesh, including a 5D cinema theatre and a cable car. Its Water World section, opened the following year in 2004, added slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river, making it a popular escape from Dhaka's heat. Set among extensive greenery with a scenic lake for paddle boating, it remains one of the largest amusement parks in the country.
