Feni

Feni is a strategically located district of Chattogram Division along the Dhaka-Chattogram corridor, known for transport, commerce, agriculture, and river-border connections. The district had a population of about 1.65 million in 2022 and is among the smaller districts of the division. Feni town is the district headquarters and a key transit and trade center.

Formerly part of Noakhali, Feni became Bangladesh's 64th district in 1984. It has a long history as a frontier and transit zone between Chattogram, Noakhali, Tripura, and the broader southeastern corridor.
