Transportation Guide

Dinajpur is a major northern transport node, connected by intercity trains, regional highways, long-distance buses, and road links toward Saidpur Airport, Hili land port, Phulbari, Parbatipur, Birampur and Rangpur.

Bus Routes

• Dinajpur Central Bus Terminal: the main point for buses to Dhaka, Rangpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Saidpur, Nilphamari, Hili, Birampur, Phulbari and other northern routes.
• Dhaka-Dinajpur route: long-distance coaches commonly run through Bogura, Rangpur or related northern corridors depending on operator schedule.
• Local routes: minibuses, CNG auto-rickshaws and easy bikes connect Sadar with Biral, Kaharole, Chirirbandar, Birampur, Phulbari, Parbatipur and nearby markets.

Rail

• Dinajpur Railway Station: an important station on the northern railway network, served by intercity and mail trains toward Dhaka, Panchagarh, Parbatipur and other northern destinations.
• Parbatipur Railway Junction: one of the major railway junctions of North Bengal, useful for wider connections from Dinajpur district.

Air Access

• Saidpur Airport: the nearest major scheduled airport, used by many Dinajpur travelers for flights to and from Dhaka.
