How to Reach Sunamganj

There is no railway station or airport in Sunamganj district. The nearest airport is Osmani International Airport in Sylhet city.

From Dhaka

Sunamganj is about 296 km from Dhaka via the Dhaka–Sylhet Highway, with a road journey of roughly 7.5–8 hours. Ena Transport runs a direct Dhaka–Chhatak–Sunamganj route, and Hanif Enterprise also sells Dhaka–Sunamganj tickets. Some other operators (e.g. Shyamoli NR) run to nearby Tajpur, requiring a short local transfer onward to Sunamganj town.

From Sylhet

Sunamganj is a shorter regional trip from Sylhet city, commonly made by local bus, CNG auto-rickshaw, or private car.
