Built between 1995 and 2000 in Arakanese/Southeast Asian architectural style atop a roughly 200-foot hill in Balaghata, this temple (also known as Bandarban Rajvihar) enshrines Buddha relics (dhatu) and a roughly 55-foot statue, making it an important pilgrimage site for the Marma Buddhist community and a major visitor attraction.
