Rangpur

Rangpur Division is Bangladesh’s northernmost division, known for fertile plains, historic zamindar estates, riverine agriculture, and cross-border trade routes. It covers about 16,185 km² and had a population of 17,610,956 in the 2022 census. Its capital and largest city is Rangpur, a major administrative, commercial, and educational center of North Bengal.
