Panchagarh

Panchagarh is the northernmost district of Bangladesh and part of Rangpur Division, known for tea gardens, borderland scenery, and cool-season agriculture. Panchagarh town is the district headquarters and the main administrative center.

Panchagarh emerged from the older Dinajpur-Thakurgaon administrative region and later became a separate district. Its history reflects frontier settlement and borderland exchange.
